Blue = New Rule
Green = Changed RuleGeneral
- Do not power-play or god-mod. The only exceptions would be for leaders, deputies, and medicine cats but use this wisely. Going overboard will result in loss of high rank as well a possible ban.
- Use complete sentences and try to use good grammar and spelling. Every post must be 200+ words. If you can not reach this, please join at a later time when you can or ask one of the members for help. There is an RP tutoring section located under the general board, and you are welcome to post there and ask for help.
- Cursing is allowed IC and OOC, but do not abuse this or I will take this away. Also, keep in mind these are cats. Cats have their own types of cursing. Just keep that in mind.
- If you are going away, or are leaving for good, please post in the going away/leaving board. If you miss an activity check, and do not have a valid away post up, you risk the chance of being deleted.
- No sexist talk. No racist talk. And no being rude to members or staff. Or you will be IP and E-Mail banned. Do not talk back to staff, what we say goes.
- No fighting OOC. If you do and it gets out of hand both members will be banned.
- If the signature stretches the page at all, you will be asked to resize it or remove it. You may have links to pictures in your signature if there are too many and they stretch the page. Signatures and avatars may not be hosted off of Imgur.
- You can have as many characters as you want, so long as you can keep them active.
- One account per person.
- Only two high ranks allowed per member. You may not have two leaders, two deputies, or two medicine cats. You may have a leader and a medicine cat, or a deputy and a medicine cat. You may not have both a deputy and a leader at the same time, and no two high-ranks in the same Clan.
- All pictures must be stock images - no exceptions! Continued breaking of this rule will resulting in banishment. All photo manipulations must be properly credited and hosted on DeviantArt. All pictures must come from either Flickr or DeviantArt and must be posted on DeviantArt; no pictures are allowed to be posted on tinypic, lunapic, photobucket, etc. You may use a drawing that you made, or was made for you, but it must be hosted on DeviantArt and there must be proof that the drawing belongs to you.Posting
- All IC posts should be 200+ words.
- When posting OOC while you are still IC, please indicate that you are (putting an ooc before you go into ooc, and IC when going back into character. Something like that, as long as you let us know when you are talking out of character).
- Fighting can happen any time between cats, just don't get too graphic. Staff have the right to edit any posts that go overboard. You can not kill a cat unless the other person agrees and you have told the staff.
- Battles between Clans will be monitored.
- Graphic breeding/birthing is not allowed on site - this includes PMs! Take it to Chatzys, AIM, Yahoo, whatever - just keep it off the boards. Raping is allowed, but you must have permission to do so, and there must be a staff-approved plot for the rape to happen. Also, no breeding at Gatherings, Clan meetings, etc. You do not have to role-play the birth, or the breeding for that matter, but can if you wish.
- The role-players that role-play the parents must use the correct form in the right board and post the parents stats. A staff member will decide how many kits, how many will survive, etc.
- You must have permission from the admins before you post a StarClan cat anywhere besides the StarClan board. They are only allowed into the other boards for plots that have been discussed with and accepted by the admins. The same goes for Dark Forest cats. No cats can have dreams from StarClan about a prophecy unless it is part of an accepted plot. Regular dreams, however, like a mother going to see her kit for example, are fine and are the only times a StarClan character can be RPed outside of StarClan unless for an approved plot.
- Apprentices can not become warriors unless they have had at least three training threads with their mentor: one battle training, one hunting practice, and going to the Moonstone. You must supply links to the threads before your warrior ceremony can take place. If you mentor is inactive, ask for a new mentor.Characters
- Clan characters must have proper naming. Kits end with -kit, apprentices end with -paw. No names besides the names of leaders may have "star" in them. No names may have "lunar," "solar," or "moon" in them as well. Terms such as summer, winter, spring, and autumn/fall are not to be used by Clan cats, either, as they have their own names for seasons.
- You may have as many characters as you want, just keep them active.
- Apprentices may not have official mates but they may get pregnant. However, there must be a staff approved plot and the kits more than likely either will not survive or will be born with health issues. The mother will also suffer with issues. This goes for non-Clan she-cats as well who get pregnant under 12 moons.
- Only one litter per year per character and that litter must all be six moons old before another litter can be born.
- A max of three litters per member allowed per year. No exceptions.
- Once your character is in a Clan, they may not join another Clan unless there is a staff approved plot.Leaders
- Name must end in -star. (i.e: Firestar, Bluestar, Tigerstar)
- Once all high-rank spots are filled, no bios for leaders will be accepted. The deputy becomes the next leader.
- Must remain active. (One post every ten days).
- Can be either male or female.
- If female, cannot have any kits, unless there is a staff-approved plot that involves the female leader having kits.
- Have nine lives.
- Can be exiled by Clan if they do something wrong.
- Must hold Clan meetings and go to Gatherings. You may bring a total of five cats with you, not including the deputy, and medicine cats.
- Responsible for whole Clan.
- Cannot be killed off or adopted. NOTE: if player leaves, auditions will be held for someone to take over that character.
- Will lose one life every time has to be 'adopted'.
- May hold activity checks for their own Clans whenever they wish. Notify the admin if any cats need to be added or removed from Clan list. These checks are to be posted in the announcements board, and once they are posted, PM a staff member with a link to the thread so that they can make it an announcement.
- Once all high ranks are filled, no bios for high ranks will be accepted. The leader will choose the next deputy, the medicine cat will pick their apprentice, etc. All chosen cats must be approved by the staff and must be active and be role-played well.
- Must have at least 100 posts to become a leader.Deputies
- Have regular warrior names.
- Once all high-ranks are filled, no bios for deputies will be accepted. They will be a chosen warrior that the leader and staff pick.
- Must remain active. (One post every ten days).
- Can be either male or female.
- If female, can not have kits, unless there is a staff-approved plot involving the female deputy having kits.
- Can be exiled by Clan. There must be a staff-approved plot for this to happen.
- The password to make a cat is fiction.
- If the leader is hurt/sick/etc. and can not make it to Gatherings/Clan meetings etc. then deputy takes their place.
- Next in line to become leader.
- Can be killed off but cannot be adopted out.
- Must train at least one apprentice before becoming deputy.
- Must have 50 post to become a deputy.Medicine Cats
- Have regular warrior names.
- Medicine cat apprentices have -paw at the end of their name until StarClan tells their mentor what their full name will be.
- Can be either male or female.
- Can not have mates or kits unless there is a staff-approved plot that involves them having kits.
- Must remain active. (One post every fifteen days).
- May not be adopted. Once the player leaves/becomes inactive the medicine cat is killed off and the apprentice becomes the medicine cat and chooses a new apprentice.
- Must have 25 posts become a medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice.
